The Kearney Concert Association curtains are getting ready to rise again. After cancelling and postponing concerts for over a year, we are excited to say that the 2021-2022 season is scheduled to begin October 4, 2021 with Miss Myra and The Moonshiners. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our audience, our artists, and our volunteers. To ensure this, we will be following the advice of the CDC and Two Rivers Public Health Department.
The two concerts that had to be canceled in March and April of 2020 will be included in the 2021-2022 season. Replacing the 8-member Young Irelanders March 13, 2020 concert will be the Masters of Soul, a 10-member dynamic tribute to the best music of Motown, featuring 3 female and 3 male singers backed with an instrumental quartet. The Frank Vignola Hot Jazz Guitar Trio that was planned for April 24, 2020 is being rescheduled. All KCA 2019-20 members will be able to attend these two make up performances without charge.
The normal KCA season has five concerts, however, the 2020-2021 season was scheduled to include a bonus sixth concert and with the two 2019-2020 replacement concerts, 2021-2022 will be an eight concert season. Season memberships will continue to be Adult $50, Student $25 and Family $110. If you have already renewed, thank you. If you haven't renewed, or you want to become a new member, please join now.
